ZUUS Latino
ZUUS Latino was an American digital broadcast television network that was owned by Zuus Media. The network specialized in broadcasting Spanish music videos; its playlist of videos extended from the 1990s through the present day. The network also aired occasional informercials in prime time and other high-dollar day parts. It operated from November 2013 to January 2016. History In 2013, Zuus Media had purchased The Country Network, renaming it ZUUS Country, and had plans to launch a number of ZUUS-branded music video channels of various formats; ZUUS Latino was the only other format to ever make it to air. In January 2016, Zuus Media folded. ZUUS Country was sold off and reverted to its previous brand as The Country Network; ZUUS Latino was shut down. KPMR (channel 38) is a television station licensed to Santa Barbara, California, United States, serving the Central Coast of California as an affiliate of the Spanish-language network Univision. It is owned by Entravision Communications alongside Santa Maria–licensed UniMás affiliate KTSB-CD (channel 35). LocusPoint Networks LLC was an owner of television stations in the United States. The company is 99% owned by The Blackstone Group. After selling off most of their in 2017 and 2018 in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) spectrum auction and to other broadcasters, they owned one remaining station, WLEP-LD in Erie, Pennsylvania, whose license they turned in to the FCC effective February 12, 2019. One of the company's acquisitions, WMGM-TV, was rumored to have been purchased only to be sold in a spectrum auction in 2015. When the FCC auction finally occurred LocusPoint failed to successfully win a bid to sell the station's spectrum to the FCC. On June 26, 2017, LocusPoint Networks agreed to sell WMGM-TV to Univision Communications, through its Univision Local Media subsidiary, for $6 million. KCNZ-CD (channel 28) is a low-power, Class A television station licensed to San Francisco, California, United States, serving the San Francisco Bay Area. Owned by CNZ Communications, LLC, it is sister to Merit Street affiliate KOFY-TV (channel 20) and low-power station KMPX-LD (channel 18). The three stations share transmitter facilities atop San Bruno Mountain. History KCNZ-CD was founded on April 25, 1986, with an original construction permit granted to National Innovative Programming Network.
