Yvonne Spigt (born 20 January 1988) is a Dutch marathon skater and inline skater Inline skates are a type of roller skates, roller skate used for inline skating. Unlike quad skates, which have two front and two rear wheels, inline skates typically have two to five wheels arranged in a single line. Some, especially those for .... Spigt works as a doctor's assistant in her everyday non-sports life. Spigt's sisters Moniek, Petra, and Jannitta have also been skating in the women's marathon platoon. Spigt won the Dutch Open championships marathon skating on natural ice at the Weissensee on 30 January 2008. Spight later also won the Open Dutch Championship marathon skating on natural ice at the Grote Rietplas in Emmen on 8 February 2012. Wervershoof
Wervershoof (; West Frisian: ''Werfershouf'') is a former municipality and a town in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland and the region of West-Frisia. Since 1 January 2011 it has been part of the municipality of Medemblik. About the origin of its name Wervershoof are a number of versions. For many, the naming to the homestead of the most popular preacher Werenfridus. Werenfridus was follower of Willibrord and came to the area in 690 to the word of Willibrord and his gospel. He then lived in a farm in later Wervershoof. The place is in exile in 1288 Werfaertshof mentioned on a map. But the story of Werenfridus still has many followers. Inline skating is a multi-disciplinary sport and can refer to a number of activities practiced using inline skates. Inline skates typically have two to five polyurethane wheels depending on the style of practice, arranged in a single line by a metal or plastic frame on the underside of a boot. Emmen (Drenthe)
Emmen () is a municipality and town of the province of Drenthe in the northeastern Netherlands. History A planned city, Emmen arose from several small farming and peat-harvesting communities which have dotted the province of Drenthe since the Middle Ages. Traces of these communities can still be seen in the form of the villages of Westenesch, Noordbarge and Zuidbarge: they have a separate history and layout but are surrounded by the suburbs and the center of Emmen. NOS Journaal is the umbrella name for the news broadcasts of the Dutch public broadcaster NOS on radio and television.
