Yvette Broch
Yvette Broch (born 23 December 1990) is a Dutch professional handball player, who plays for Győri ETO KC and the Dutch national team. She is also known for being a runner up on the fourth season of '' Holland's Next Top Model''. She completed in the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil. She competed on the Dutch team at the 2014 European Women's Handball Championship in Hungary and Croatia, and won a silver team medal at the 2015 World Championship finals. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's handball tournament. In August 2018 she decided to suspend her professional handball career, due to exhaustion. In 2020, she returned to handball and trained with her former French handball club, Metz. After the season, she signed a 2-year-contact with the Romanian club, CSM Bucuresti. Monster, Netherlands
Monster is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Westland, and lies about south-west of The Hague. The International Handball Federation (IHF) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball. The Coupe de France féminine de handball is an annual national cup competition for French women's handball clubs. Its champion used to qualify for the EHF Cup Winners' Cup and now qualifies for the Women's EHF European League. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. World Women's Handball Championship
The IHF Women's Handball World Championship has been organized by the International Handball Federation since 1957. European teams have won every time except 1995 where South Korea won as the first team outside Europe and 2013 where Brazil won as the first American team. The biggest winners are Russia and Norway with four titles each. Nine teams participated in the first championship, this number has grown in steps to 32 (from 2021). In 1977 a B-tournament was introduced and later in 1986 a C-tournament which served as qualification for the real championship or A-tournament. The women's tournament of Handball at the 2016 Summer Olympics at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, began on 6 August and ended on 20 August 2016. Games were played at the Future Arena. Russia won their first title after defeating France 22–19 in the final. Norway captured the bronze, and their third consecutive medal by winning against the Netherlands.
