Yusuf Dikeç
Yusuf Dikeç (born 1 January 1973) is a Turkish shooting sport, sport shooter who competes in the shooting sport#Pistol, pistol events and won the world and European champions multiple times. He is a retired non-commissioned officer of the Gendarmerie General Command, Turkish Gendarmerie and a member of Jandarma Gücü Sports Club. He has been subject to overnight fame and various Internet meme, Internet memes due to his casual attire combined with minimal equipment during the 2024 Summer Olympics in which he won a silver medal in the ISSF 10 meter air pistol, 10 meter air pistol mixed team event alongside his teammate Şevval İlayda Tarhan. The ISSF World Cup was introduced by the International Shooting Sport Federation in 1986 to provide a homogeneous system for qualification to the Olympic shooting competitions. It still is carried out in the Olympic shooting events, with four competitions per year in each event. For the best shooters there is since 1988 a ''World Cup Final''. 2021 European Shooting Championships
The 2021 European Shooting Championships were held from 22 May to 5 June 2021 in Osijek, Croatia. 1,473 athletes from 52 countries competed. The championship was originally scheduled to only include events for shotgun, cartridge rifle and pistol. Lohja in Finland was scheduled to host the European 10metre event championships for air rifle, air pistol and running target in February. However, travel restrictions from the COVID pandemic prevented this event from running. The 10m events were hosted in Osijek.
