Yuri Zhukov (), born Georgy Aleksandrovich Zhukov (; 23 April 1908, Almazna – 31 May 1991, Moscow) was a Soviet journalist, publicist and political figure. Biography Born at the Almaznaya station, then part of the Slavyanoserbsk uezd, Yekaterinoslav Governorate in the Russian Empire, in the family of a clergyman (later a teacher). Georgy, as a child, when the difficult events of 1914-1920 began, was sent by his father to his brother Mikhail Zhukov in Tiflis, who loved his nephew as his own son and helped him improve his French. In 1925 he became an employee of the wall newspaper of the Lugansk railway vocational school "Red Puteyets". From 1926 he worked as an assistant driver in the Lugansk branch of the Donetsk Railway. Almazna (, ) is a small city in Kadiivka urban hromada, Alchevsk Raion (district), Luhansk Oblast (region), Ukraine. Nikolai Matveevich Gribachev (Russian: Николай Матвеевич Грибачёв; 19 December 1910 – 10 March 1992) was a Soviet writer and politician. Biography Gribachev was born in to a poor peasant family. After completing the seventh grade, he studied at the hydromelioration technical school. From 1926 he appeared with newspaper publications with poems and journalistic work. Sokolniki Park, named for the falconry, falcon hunt of the grand princes of Principality of Moscow, Moscow formerly conducted there, is located in the eponymous Sokolniki District of Moscow.
