Yuri Lobanov
Yuri Lobanov (sometimes listed as Yuriy Lobanov, 29 September 1952 – 1 May 2017) was a Soviet-born Tajikistani sprint canoeist who competed from the early 1970s to the early 1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won two medals in the C-2 1000 m events with a gold in 1972 and a bronze in 1980. He was affiliated with Tadzhikiston Dushanbe. ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships
The ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships are an international event in canoe racing, one of two Summer Olympic sport events organized by the International Canoe Federation (the other being the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships).
