Yuri Chesnichenko
Yuri Chesnichenko (, also romanized French-style as ''Iouri Tchesnitchenko'') is a former ice dancer who competed with Yaroslava Nechaeva for the Soviet Union, Russia, and Latvia. He currently lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he works as a coach. Career Chesnichenko was partnered with Yaroslava Nechaeva when they were fourteen. They won the silver medal at the 1992 World Junior Championships for the Soviet Union. The following season, they won silver at the 1992 Skate Canada International competing for Russia. In their final season, they switched to Latvia and placed 13th at the 1994 European Championships. Lynn Kriengkrairut
Lynn Kriengkrairut (; ; born October 4, 1988) is an American former competitive ice dancer. With partner Logan Giulietti-Schmitt, she is a two-time (2011–2012) Ice Challenge champion and the 2012 U.S. national pewter medalist. Career Kriengkrairut began skating at the age of six and a half. She competed in single skating and solo dance before teaming up with Jon Lauten, with whom she skated for one year. Logan Giulietti-Schmitt contacted Kriengkrairut after seeing her on IcePartnerSearch. They began skating together in July 2006, agreeing to form a partnership on the second day of a planned three-day tryout. Skate Canada International
Skate Canada International is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), organised and hosted by Skate Canada. The first Skate Canada competition was held in 1973 in Calgary, Alberta. When the ISU launched the Champions Series (later renamed the Grand Prix Series) in 1995, Skate Canada International was one of the five qualifying events. It has been a Grand Prix event every year, except for 2020, when Skate Canada was forced to cancel the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Medals are awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The World Junior Figure Skating Championships are an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU).
