Yunist ShVSM Chernihiv ( uk, "Юність-ШВСМ" Чернігів) is Ukrainian women's football club from Chernihiv, Ukraine established in 2020. ShVSM abbreviation stands for School of Higher Sports Mastery (Ukrainian: Школа Вищої Спортивної Майстерності). History Origin The team was found as a temporary solution in 2020 in Chernihiv as the Chernihiv Oblast was left without a women's team for the first time since 1992. The new club was formed based on a local sports school Yunist Chernihiv and a women's club Yednist-ShVSM Plysky and since 2020 is playing in the First League, the second tier (amateur level) of the woman football competitions in Ukraine. The club intends to join the FC Desna Chernihiv as its women's section for the 2021–22 season when all women's clubs will be merged with men's club. Yunist Stadium ( uk, Стадіон Юність) is a football stadium in Chernihiv, Ukraine. The stadium is a home arena for Yunist Chernihiv and Yunist ShVSM and it belongs to the Sportive youth school. General description Origin The stadium was opened in 1975 and it is located 1.5 km by Stadium Youri Gagarin, 2.5 km by Chernihiv Arena. A number of notable players started at the Youth Academy, playing in this stadium, such as Andriy Yarmolenko, Pavlo Polehenko, Vladyslav Shapoval, Pavlo Fedosov, Oleksiy Khoblenko and Nika Sichinava. In 2015 Andriy Yarmolenko and Berezenko played for the Chernihiv team to mark the opening of a new football field. Reconstruction In 2017, work on the reconstruction of the new stadium began. Volodymyr Kulyk
Volodymyr Kulyk (russian: Кулик Владимир Николаевич) (born in Chernihiv, October 1, 1969) is a retired Ukrainian football player and coach. He spend most of his career to Desna Chernihiv the main club in Chernihiv. Playing career Born in Sumy, Volodymyr Kulyk became interested with football when he was in the city school's third grade studying in Lokhvytsia, Poltava Oblast where his family moved earlier. When he was in the eighth grade, to Lokhvytsia arrived Leonid Lytvynenko from Brezhnev (today Naberezhnye Chelny) and offered him to drop playing a table tennis and concentrate in football. FC Yednist' Plysky
FC Yednist Plysky was a Ukrainian professional football team from the village of Plysky in Nizhyn Raion of Chernihiv Oblast. The club continues to play in the Chernihiv Oblast football competition. Club history The club was founded in 2001 and is sponsored by a local farming company ''Ahroservis''. Yednist began participating in the Ukrainian Second League from 2005. The club took the move of entering the professional competition after several years of successfully competing in the Amateur competitions (''Fourth Level'' of competition in Ukraine) including winning the Ukrainian Amateur Cup in 2003. Oleksandr Viktorovych Babor (russian: Александр Викторович Бабор) is a retired Ukrainian professional footballer who played as a defender. Career Oleksandr Babor started his career in 1997 with Desna Chernihiv the main club of the city of Chernihiv. Here he played three seasons. In 2000 he moved to Ros Bila Tserkva where he managed to play 37 matches and scored 2 goals. In 2004 he moved to Desna Chernihiv where he won the 2005–06 Ukrainian Second League.
