Yumbe is a town in the Northern Region of Uganda. It is the district headquarters of Yumbe District. Yumbe District
Yumbe District is a district in Northern Region, Uganda. Like most other Ugandan districts, it is named after its 'chief town', Yumbe, where the district headquarters are located. The Koboko–Yumbe–Moyo Road is a road in the Northern Region of Uganda, connecting the towns of Koboko, Yumbe, and Moyo. Location The road starts at Koboko, the headquarters of the Koboko District, and continues in a northeasterly direction, through Yumbe, where the headquarters of the Yumbe District are located, ending at Moyo, where the headquarters of the Moyo District are located. Districts Of Uganda
As of 1 July 2020, Uganda is divided into 135 districts plus the capital city of Kampala, which are grouped into four Regions of Uganda, geographic regions. Since 2005, the Ugandan government has been in the process of dividing districts into smaller units. This decentralization is intended to prevent resources from being distributed primarily to chief towns and leaving the remainder of each district neglected. Flag Of Uganda
The national flag of Uganda () was adopted on 9 October 1962, the day that the nation became independent from the British Empire. It consists of six equal horizontal bands of black, yellow, and red from top to bottom.
