Yuika (singer)
is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She became popular on TikTok after she released her debut single, "Sukidakara". Biography Yuika was born on January 12, 2005. She is from Nara Prefecture but later moved to Tokyo. She first stated in an interview with that ever since she was in kindergarten, she dreamt of being a singer and stated that she taught herself to write music. She started uploading various covers of songs from other artists, such as Kenshi Yonezu and Mrs. Green Apple, on TikTok when she was in her second year of middle school. She debuted with the single "Sukidakara" on June 27, 2021, while she was in her first year in high school. The song became a huge hit on TikTok and was popular in both Japan and South East Asia.
