Yugoimport
Yugoimport–SDPR () is a Serbian state-owned weapons manufacturer as well as intermediary company for the import and export of defense-related equipment. It is headquartered in Belgrade, with production facilities in Velika Plana, Kuršumlija, Uzići and Pančevo. History The company was founded in 1949 by the decree of the Prime Minister of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito, with the primary goal of importing parts and raw materials for the needs of the domestic military industry. Over time, domestic production outgrew the needs of the domestic market, so Yugoimport started orienting towards foreign markets. Yugoimport started exporting weapons in 1953. By a state resolution in 1974, affairs related to the import and export of weapons were centralized within the framework of the newly formed Federal Directorate for Procurement (), where Jugoimport was also involved. Nora B-52
The Nora B-52 is a 155 mm self-propelled artillery, self-propelled howitzer developed by Military Technical Institute and manufactured by Yugoimport SDPR in Velika Plana, Serbia. History The first self-propelled Nora B (developed on the basis of Nora C) was designed by the Military Technical Institute in 1984 with a modified 152 mm Nora M-84 howitzer mounted on an Fabrika automobila Priboj, FAP 8x8 truck bed and was a third generation of artillery systems. Later, in the 2000s, Military Technical Institute developed new versions of 4th generation artillery systems with 52 caliber 155 mm gun for fitting on a new system of Nora family with B-52 designation. The LAZAR is a family of multi-role armoured personnel carriers, designed for various applications and missions, designed and developed by Yugoimport-SDPR. BOV M16 Miloš
The BOV M16 Miloš is a Serbian 4x4 multipurpose armoured vehicle (MPAV) used for military and law enforcement applications. It features a V-hull, integrating floating-floor plates, and blast-mitigation seating to protect occupants against land mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The M16 Miloš was first publicly presented at IDEX 2017 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Design The M16 Miloš is based on a chassis with self-supporting hull and has modern drive assemblies with T700 drive line that has been developed by Timoney and Texelis with independent suspension system which ensures high mobility in any terrain and weather conditions thus enabling maximum combat weight of 14 tons. Utva Aviation Industry
Utva Aviation Industry (), commonly known as UTVA is a Serbian manufacturer of general aviation aircraft, subsidiary of Yugoimport SDPR, headquartered in Pančevo. History Utva was founded on 5 June 1937 in Zemun, since 1940 located in Pančevo, produced simple gliders. In 1939 Utva began manufacturing light piston engine aircraft. During the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) carried out an aerial bombing campaign against the Serbia and Montenegro, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia during the Kosovo War. Lazar BVT
The Lazar BVT is a Serbian mine resistant ambush protected vehicle (MRAP), manufactured by Yugoimport SDPR and named after Prince Lazar Hrebeljanović. It is not in operational use by the Serbian Army, which uses modified version, Lazar 3. Design Lazar is a vehicle conceived for use in urban and rural anti-infantry patrol and transport role, a supplementary vehicle meant to prevent exposure of even basic infantry units to enemy fire as well as to run support of heavier vehicles in convoy situations. The chassis is started as a simple redesign of the TAM-150 truck but evolved to include a completely modified hull, 4×4 and 8×8 configuration, added armor and dozens of structural improvements. The BOV M11 is part of the BOV family of light armored vehicles. The M11 is a 4x4 all-wheel drive vehicle specialized in reconnaissance. It is manufactured in Yugoimport SDPR factory in Velika Plana, Serbia. Description The BOV M11 has a primary role as a reconnaissance vehicle and command-reconnaissance vehicle. If used by artillery units, it could function as a remote observation post that observes an enemy and guides firing. Utva Lasta
The Utva Lasta 95 (from , and , lit. 'swallow') is a light military trainer aircraft produced by Utva Aviation Industry, subsidiary of Yugoimport SDPR. It is a tandem two-seater low-wing trainer with a metal airframe. The aircraft is capable of basic training functions including aerobatics, instrument and tactical flying, as well as basic training in use of weapons. The first prototype of ''Lasta 1'' flew on 2 September 1985, while the first prototype of the current version, ''Lasta 3'', flew on February 26, 2009. ''Lasta'' is the Serbian word for barn swallow.
