Yue Wenhai
Yue Wenhai (; born January 1958) is a former Chinese official, he served as Mayor of Zhoukou from May 2012 to May 2013. He is now the Communist Party Secretary of China Minzu Securities. Biography Yue Wenhai was born in Henan in 1958. In 1984, Yue Wenhai was admitted to the Henan Agricultural University, majoring in agricultural economics & management. After graduating from university in 1986, he became a civil servant. In 1995, he became the mayor of Xinzheng city. In 2012, he was transferred to Zhoukou city, as the mayor. In order to make new farmland, he launched the movement of dig graves, and he said: "It has no retreat, is a revolution, be an uphill battle." He also turned the old Zhengzhou Airport into the Zhengzhou New District. In May 2013, he resigned and became the party boss of China Minzu Securities. Xinzheng () is a county-level city of Henan Province, China. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Zhengzhou, the provincial capital. Henan Reinterment Project
The Henan Grave Removal Project (), carried out in Henan Province, China, between 2012 and 2013, was a proposed by Henan CPC Secretary Lu Zhangong. The purpose of the exercise was to reclaim land for farming, mainly in Nanyang, Luoyang, Shangqiu and Zhoukou. The government of Henan Province announced that it had levelled more than two million graves to create fields covering 30,000 mu (~18.43 km2). After media reports caused great controversy, supporters commented that it was a worthwhile project, while opponents said it was "a foul action." Xu Guang
Xu Guang (; born June 1960) is a former Chinese politician who spent his whole career in north China's Henan province. He was investigated by China's top anti-graft body, the Chinese Communist Party Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, in August 2019.
