Yuezhou or Yue Prefecture was a '' zhou'' (prefecture) in imperial China in modern Zhejiang, China, centering on modern Shaoxing Shaoxing (; ) is a prefecture-level city on the southern shore of Hangzhou Bay in northeastern Zhejiang province, China.
