Yu Sang
Yu Sang (; 1643–1723), alternatively Ryu Sang (), courtesy name Yeojin (汝珍, 여진), was a royal court physician and politician of the Korean Joseon dynasty. He was a smallpox specialist who successfully treated three Joseon kings. In 1693, due to having cured Sukjong's smallpox, he was granted a political office. Later he became the governor of Seosan, Goyang Goyang (; ) is a city in Gyeonggi Province in the north of South Korea. It is part of the Seoul Metropolitan Area, making Goyang one of Seoul's Satellite city, satellite cities. The National Folk Museum Of Korea
National Folk Museum of Korea () is a national museum located on the grounds of Gyeongbokgung in Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea. It uses replicas of historical objects to illustrate the history of traditional life of the Korean people. ''Jeungbo sallim gyeongje'' is a Korean book on agriculture compiled by Yu Jung-rim (柳重臨) as revised and enlarged from the '' Sallim gyeongje'' written by Hong Man-seon (洪萬選 1643~1715). Munhwa Ryu Clan
The Munhwa Yoo clan (), also known as the Munhwa Ryu clan (), is a Korean clan. Background In the 2015 South Korean census, 237,314 individuals identified themselves as part of the Munhwa Yoo clan, and 90,313 individuals identified themselves as members of the Munhwa Ryu clan, with a combined total of 327,627 members. Yu Ch'a-dal, the founder of Munhwa Yu Clan, was born in Yuju (儒州=文化縣), Hwanghae-do in North Korea. He was received the title of Daeseung (大丞) as a merit subject at the founding of Goryeo dynasty in the beginning of the 10th century. He supported Wang Kŏn by supplying Wang's armies with military carts. Hapcheon County (''Hapcheon-gun'') is a county in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea.
