Youyi Bridge
The Youyi Bridge (, meaning ''Friendship Bridge'', ) is a bridge on the Karakoram Highway at Thakot in Battagram District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The inauguration ceremony for the bridge was held on August 17, 2004. The bridge spans the Indus River, and was constructed next to a bridge built between 1966 and 1978. The bridge was given its Chinese name in 2004 to honour the Chinese and Pakistani workers killed in the construction of the Karakoram Highway. Pingxiang () is a county-level city under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Chongzuo, in the southwest of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. Situation The city covers an area of . It is bordered in the north by Longzhou County and in the east by Ningming County, both in Chongzuo, and in the south and west by Vietnam's Lạng Sơn Province. National Route 322 comes through the city centre, as does the railway which continues on to Hanoi; a high-speed expressway, now also international, passes nearby. Hexi District ( is a district in the south-western corner of urban Tianjin, People's Republic of China. It is bordered by Heping District in the north-west, Hedong District to the north-east, and Nankai District to the west. As of 2020, the district has a total population of 822,174. History During the Northern Song dynasty, this area was on the border with Jin, and belonged to the Hechi county. In 1110 it was transferred into Jinghai county, before got merged into Qianning county 3 years later. Following the Jingkang incident, Qianning county was ceded to Jin dynasty, who reinstated Jinghai county. The region remained under the same administrative division through Yuan and Ming dynasty.
