Yousuf Jr.
Yousuf Jr. (1940 – 20 June 2015) was a Pakistani footballer who played as a winger. Early life Yousuf was born in Ragiwara, Lyari, Karachi. Club career Yousuf started his football career with Ragiwara FC, and later moved to Karachi club Baloch XI. Over the course of his career, he also represented KMC and Sindh Government Press. In 1957, he joined Dhaka League side Dhaka Mohammedan. During his time there, he helped the club secure two Dhaka League titles and also appeared as a guest player for clubs including Victoria SC throughout the 1960s. He also played for EPIDC. Following the secession of East Pakistan in 1971, he returned to Karachi and concluded his playing career with Karachi Port Trust. International career Yousuf was first called by the Pakistan national team for the 1960 AFC Asian Cup qualification in 1959. Karachi Port Trust Football Team served as the football section of Karachi Port Trust. Founded in 1887 during the British Raj, it is the oldest football club in Pakistan. Based in Kharadar, Karachi, the club played their home matches at KPT Stadium. The club used to compete in the National Football Championship and Pakistan Premier League.
