Young Christian Democrats (Lithuania)
Young Christian Democrats (, ''JKD'') is a youth organization in Lithuania which is a branch of the Homeland Union. JKD (Jaunieji Krikscionys Demokratai) was founded in 1993 as a non-governmental organization and unites more than 1,000 young people in 30 branches in different districts of Lithuania as well as abroad. International activities JKD is one of the founding members of YEPP (Youth of the European People's Party) and had the member of the Board in this organization for 4 years. Dozens of international projects together with Belarusian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Georgian, German, Latvian, Norwegian, Russian, Swedish and Ukrainian partners were carried out. Youth of the European People's Party (YEPP) is an umbrella organization of European political youth organisations and is the official youth wing of the European People's Party. YEPP brings together 64 centre-right youth political organisations from 40 countries all over Europe. Founded in 1997 by the 2006–2014 Prime Minister of Sweden Fredrik Reinfeldt, YEPP has developed into the largest political youth organisation in Europe. Eduardo Nicanor Frei Montalva (; 16 January 1911 – 22 January 1982) was a Chileans, Chilean political leader. In his long political career, he was Minister of Public Works, president of his Christian Democratic Party (Chile), Christian Democratic Party, senator, President of the Senate, and the 27th president of Chile from 1964 to 1970. His eldest son, Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, also became president of Chile (1994–2000).
