The Young Achievers Awards (YAA) is a national competition held annually in Uganda which selects and promotes the best practice and excellence in youth creativity. By demonstrating a young person's potential to create an outstanding nation built on entrepreneurship, YAA aims at recognizing Uganda's leaders of tomorrow today. It provides an opportunity for people to work together to address national developmental challenges in ICT, the Arts, Health, Education, Gender and access to better lives. Amelia Kyambadde
Amelia Anne Kyambadde is a Ugandan politician, philanthropist and Women activist. She is the Senior Presidential Advisor on Industry to the President of Uganda. She served as the Cabinet Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives in the Ugandan Cabinet from 2016 to 2021. She replaced Kahinda Otafiire, who was appointed Minister for Justice. Flavia Tumusiime is a Ugandan actress, media personality, media and tech communications consultant, VJ, radio and television host, voice-over artist, emcee and author of '' 30 Days of Flavia''. She played the lead role of Kamali Tenywa (lead role) in Nana Kagga's television series, '' Beneath the Lies'', from 2014 to 2016.
