Yordanis Despaigne Herrera (born February 12, 1980) is a Cuban professional boxer who, as an amateur boxer, has medaled repeatedly in international tournaments as a middleweight. Career In Belfast at the 2001 World Amateur Boxing Championships he won a Bronze medal. After beating Kenneth Egan he lost to Utkirbek Haydarov (UZB) 28-29. In Bangkok 2003 he easily beat Haydarov 33:13 but lost to eventual winner Gennady Golovkin 26:29 and got another Bronze. At the PanAm Games 2003 he edged out American southpaw Andre Dirrell 21:20 but was upset in the final by Dominican Juan Ubaldo. Utkirbek Haydarov (Уткирбек Хайдаров; born January 25, 1974, in Andijon) is an Uzbekistani boxer who competed in the light heavyweight (81 kg) at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal. Career The aggressive southpaw won the middleweight world title six years earlier in Houston but lost his first match at the Olympics 2000 and moved up in weight. Ronald Gavril (born July 10, 1986) is a Romanian professional boxer. He is signed to Mayweather Promotions and is currently trained by Eddie Mustafa Muhammad. Early life and education Ronald Gavril was born on 10 July 1986 in Bacău, Romania. He credits his two brothers for inspiring him to become a fighter. Although his brothers had been fighters for quite some time, Gavril only joined in 2002 the local boxing club SCM Bacău in his hometown. Suriya Prasathinphimai (; born April 2, 1980) is a Thai boxer who competed in the Middleweight (75 kg) at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal.
