Yoopa
Yoopa (stylized YOOPA) was a Canadian French language specialty channel owned by Groupe TVA, a division of Quebecor Media. Initially aimed at preschoolers, Yoopa has broadcast programming targeted toward children, aged 2–11. A magazine for parents using the Yoopa name was launched on April 1, 2010, in conjunction with the launch of the television channel. The magazine replaced EspaceParents.ca, owned by TVA Publications, a division of Groupe TVA. On November 13, 2023, Groupe TVA announced that the channel would be shut down on January 11, 2024. The channel was replaced with a TV version of Groupe TVA's Qub Radio channel, and Yoopa's programming rights moved to the video on demand service Club Illico. Qub Radio
Qub Radio is a Canadian French-language internet talk radio station operated by Quebecor subsidiary Groupe TVA, primarily from studios in Montreal, which launched on October 4, 2018. Qub, a discretionary television channel serving as an audiovisual simulcast of the radio service, launched on January 11, 2024 on Quebecor-owned Vidéotron and certain other providers, repurposing the channel licence previously used by Yoopa. Qub features opinion-driven programming, with many of its personalities shared with other Quebecor properties including Le Canal Nouvelles and newspapers including ''Le Journal de Montréal''. It was founded as Télé-Métropole Corporation in 1960, and owned CFTM-TV, Montreal's first privately-owned francophone station. It changed its legal name to Groupe TVA inc. on February 17, 1998. Vrak
Vrak (stylized as VRΔK) was a Canadian French language specialty channel owned by BCE Inc. subsidiary Bell Media. The channel primarily broadcast live-action programming aimed at 13-to-35 age group audiences. Launched in 1988 as Le Canal Famille, it was originally conceived as French counterpart of the Family Channel under the ownership of Astral Media as well as rival broadcaster YTV, which was also then jointly owned by Rogers Media and CUC Broadcasting at the time.
