Ylli Rakipi
Ylli Rakipi is an Albanian journalist and television host. In 1993, Rakipi worked as editor-in-chief of the newspaper ''Republika'', a position he held for three years. In 1995, he founded the newspaper ''Albania'', which he led for 15 years. In 2014, Rakipi was appointed General Director of Ora News. On 22 January 2015, Rakipi began hosting the political and investigative talk show ''Të Paekspozuarit'' ("The Unexposed"). The show later aired on Top Channel Top Channel is a national commercial television network in Tirana, Albania, founded by Dritan Hoxha in 2001. It is part of the Top Media Group, one of the largest media conglomerates in Albania, which includes Top Albania Radio, Top Gold Radi ... and News 24. Currently, the show airs on MCN TV. The University of Tirana (, abbreviated UT) is a public university located at the central borough of Tirana 10 in Tirana, Albania. It was established as the State University of Tirana (SUT) in 1957 through merging of five existing institutes of higher education. News 24 (Albanian TV Channel)
News 24 is the first Albanian 24-hour news television channel, founded in 2002 in Tirana, Albania, by Italian journalist Carlo Bollino and former shareholder of '' Gazeta Shqiptare'' newspaper, Radio Rash, and Balkanweb portal. The channel's format resembles its Italian equivalent Rai News24. The news is updated every minute. News 24 operates the popular news portal Balkanweb. The portal was established in February 2000 by the Italian publishing company Edisud (e.g. La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno) with funding from the Soros Foundation.
