Yishai Romanoff
Yishai Romanoff is an American Hasidic musician, best known as the lead singer for the Breslov punk band Moshiach Oi!. Romanoff, as well as the rest of the band, is featured prominently in the 2012 documentary ''Punk Jews''. He is also a drummer for Shabasa labelmates Blanket Statementstein, RockaZion, and Shin Shin Mem. Biography Early life Romanoff grew up on Long Island. Ran Ichay ( he, רן ישי; born 1970) is an Israeli humanitarian, and a former diplomat and civil servant.             Biography Ichay was born to families that immigrated to Israel after the independence. His father's family fled from Spain to North Africa in the first decades of the 15th century due to the Massacre of 1391, persecutions against jews.
