Yidongyuan (; ) is a government Compound (enclosure), compound in Beijing, China which serves as the headquarters of the Ministry of State Security (China), Ministry of State Security (MSS). The facility consists of an office complex and residential community occupying a full city block in the Xiyuan, Haidian District, Beijing, Xiyuan area of Beijing's Haidian, Beijing, Haidian District. Closed to the public, and separated by a perimeter wall, the secretive nondescript facility is believed to be staffed by approximately 10,000 Intelligence officer, intelligence officers and support staff. Qinglongqiao Subdistrict (), is a subdistrict of Haidian District, Beijing. Summer Palace is located in this subdistrict. The subdistrict shares border with Malianwa and Shangdi Subdistricts in the north, Dongsheng Town and Qinghuayuan Subdistrict in the east, Wanliu Area and Sijiqing Town to the south, Xiangshan Subdistrict and Xibeiwang Town to the west. As of 2020, it had 84,221 people residing inside of its border. The subdistrict was created in 1963. It was named after the Qinglongqiao (), which was first built upon an artificial lake during the Yuan dynasty. The 4th Ring Road () is a controlled-access expressway ring road in Beijing, China which runs around the city, with a radius of approximately from city centre. The total length of the road is . There are 147 bridges and viaducts that run the length of the Ring Road. The first section, the northern corridor, was completed in preparation for the 1990 Asian Games. Taiye Lake
Taiye Lake or Taiye Pond was an artificial lake in imperial City, Beijing, during the Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties of China. The beauty and utility of the lake was responsible for the siting of Kublai Khan's palace and the position of modern Beijing. It continues to exist but it is now known separately as the North, Central, and South Seas, the three interconnected lakes just west of the Forbidden City in downtown Beijing. The northern lake makes up the public Beihai Park while the southern two are grouped together as Zhongnanhai, the headquarters for the Communist leadership of the People's Republic of China. Lubyanka Building
Lubyanka (, ) is the popular name for the building which contains the headquarters of the FSB on Lubyanka Square in the Meshchansky District of Moscow, Russia. It is a large Neo-Baroque building with a facade of yellow brick designed by Alexander V. Ivanov in 1897 and augmented by Aleksey Shchusev from 1940 to 1947. It was previously the national headquarters of the KGB. Soviet hammer and sickles can still be seen on the building's facade.
