Zabel Yesayan
Zabel Yesayan (Armenian: Զապէլ Եսայեան; 4 February 1878 – 1943) was a prominent figure in the Armenian academic and political community during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Zabel Yesayan's books, articles, and speeches cover a range of topics such as the Adana Massacre, Armenian Genocide, and commentary on the status of Armenian women. Yesayan also worked as a translator in France as well as a professor during her later years as an academic. Her novels and articles contributed to understanding the persecution of Turkish Armenians, the after effect of World War I, and women's roles and rights in the Ottoman and Armenian communities. Tigran Yesayan
Tigran Yesayan ( hy, Տիգրան Եսայան, born 2 June 1972) is an Armenian football former player and coach. He played striker for the Armenia national football team and for several Armenian Premier League clubs. Club career Tigran Yesayan began playing football in 1990 for Zoravana, which competed in the second minor league Soviet First League. Since 1992, Zoravana moved directly to the Armenian Premier League, in which the club finished bottom of the league and had its place relegated to the Armenian First League. However, after the season, Yesayan moved to Zvartnots Echmiadzin. After the end of the season, Yesayan again moved to Dinamo Yerevan, which played in the Armenian Premier League. Yesayan was among the top goalscorers for the team and scored 30 goals for Dinamo. This score was the best in the Armenian Premier League for the 1994 season. Nune Yesayan ( hy, Նունե Եսայան, born August 5, 1969), commonly known as Nune or Nouné, is an Armenian singer who began singing with an Armenian jazz band in the early 1990s before becoming a lounge singer at resorts in the Middle East. Biography Education Even before studying music in college, Yesayan made a name for herself at her high school for being a gifted vocalist and talented performer. She graduated from high school in 1986 and was accepted to the Polytechnic University of Yerevan to study engineering. During her first year in college, Nune excelled in her engineering studies and received high marks in both mathematics and physics.
