Aksu, Kazakhstan
Aksu (, ''Aqsu''), literally meaning ''the white river'', formerly known as ''Yermak'' (, until 1993), is a city in Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan. The population of the municipal area is and the population of the town Geography Aksu is located to the south of Pavlodar, the administrative center of the region. The city lies on the left bank of the Irtysh River. Yermak Point
Rennick Bay () is an embayment of the coastline of Antarctica at the terminus of Rennick Glacier. It is bounded on the west and east by Belousov Point and Stuhlinger Ice Piedmont. Discovery and naming The eastern part of the bay was discovered from the ship '' Terra Nova'', of the British Antarctic Expedition (1910–13) under Scott. It was named by the British Antarctic Expedition for Lieutenant Henry E. de P. Rennick, Royal Navy, an officer on the Terra Nova. The bay was photographed by United States Navy Operation Highjump (1947) and by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1958). Yermak Stone
The Yermak Stone () is a cliff in Kungursky District of Perm Krai, at the territory of Preduralye Reserve. It is situated at the right bank of Sylva River opposite the Chikali Station. It consists of limestone and has peaks of different height which are called Yermak, Yermachikha and Yermachonok. Inside the rock there is a cave, where, by legends, Yermak Timofeyevich spent the winter and hid his treasures there. Yermak Stone is a traditional place for mountain climbing competition.
