Yeliz Özel (born 6 March 1980, in Ankara) is a Turkish retired handballer, who last played for İzmir Büyükşehir Bld. GSK and the Turkish national team. She is widely considered the best handball player ever from Turkey. Club career She started her career in Ankara team PTT, played the first European Cup level matches the same year. Yeliz Başa (born Yeliz Askan on August 13, 1987 in Beykoz, Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish female volleyball player, who won the gold medal at the 2014 Women's European Volleyball League playing with the Turkey women's national volleyball team. Career She began her sports career at the age of 14 in the youth team of Beykozspor in her hometown. She transferred to Beşiktaş Women's Volleyball Team, Beşiktaş one year later. After playing for the youth team from 2002 to 2004, and for the juniors team from 2004 to 2006, she entered the senior team, where she was part of until 2012. Yeliz Topaloğlu (born January 1, 1978) is a Turkish FIFA-listed football referee. Outside of refereeing, she is a teacher of physical education. She is FIFA-listed to referee beach soccer, the first woman to be licensed as such. Early years Yeliz Topaloğlu was born in 1978. She was raised in Eyüp district of Istanbul, Turkey. In 2000, she entered Marmara University to study physical education and sports. After graduating in 2004, she began to work as a physical education and sports teacher. Yeliz Açar (born 19 December 1997) is a women's football defender who plays for Turkish Super League club Fatih Vatan. Born in Turkey, she represents Azerbaijan internationally. Yeliz Fındık (born in 1976) is a Turkish female martial artist competing in the Taekwondo, boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing and wushu disciplines.
