Yaw Shin Leong
Yaw Shin Leong (; 2 June 1976 – 10 November 2023) was a Singaporean businessman and former Workers' Party (Singapore), Workers' Party politician. He was a Parliament of Singapore, Member of Parliament representing the constituency of Hougang Single Member Constituency, Hougang SMC between 2011 and 2012. In January 2012, news of a rumoured extramarital affair with a fellow member of the Workers' Party (Singapore), Workers' Party broke out. Yaw said he did not intend to respond to the rumours. In another report, a married Chinese woman claimed to have had an affair with Yaw. On February 2012, Yaw was expelled from the Workers' Party (Singapore), Workers' Party with immediate effect, citing indiscretions in personal life as the reason for the expulsion. People's Action Party
The People's Action Party (PAP) is a major Conservatism, conservative political party in Singapore and is the governing contemporary political party represented in the Parliament of Singapore, followed by the opposition Workers' Party of Singapore, Workers' Party (WP). The PAP was established in 1954 as a conventional centre-left party. Michael Anthony Palmer (born 14 July 1968) is a Singaporean lawyer and former politician who served as Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore between 2011 and 2012. A former member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), he was the Parliament of Singapore, Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Punggol East ward of Pasir Ris–Punggol Group Representation Constituency, Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC between 2006 and 2011, and Punggol East Single Member Constituency, Punggol East SMC between 2011 and 2012. Chia Shi-Lu
Chia Shi-Lu ( zh, s=谢世儒, p=Xiè Shìrú; born 13 October 1971) is a Singaporean medical practitioner and former politician. A member of the country's governing People's Action Party, he served as Member of Parliament of Tanjong Pagar GRC for Queenstown from 7 May 2011 to 23 June 2020. Early life Chia was born on 13 October 1971 to a middle-class family and is the older of two brothers. He studied in Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) and National Junior College. Aljunied Group Representation Constituency
The Aljunied Group Representation Constituency is a five-member group representation constituency (GRC) in the north-eastern and eastern region of Singapore. It consists of a large part of Hougang (excluding Hougang SMC), Paya Lebar, Serangoon Gardens, the southern half of Serangoon North as well as a portion of Bedok. The GRC consists of five divisions: Eunos, Bedok Reservoir-Punggol, Kaki Bukit, Serangoon and Paya Lebar.
