Yaw Osei Adutwum
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum (born 9 April 1964) is a Ghanaian politician and member of the List of MPs elected in the 2024 Ghanaian general election, ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, representing the Bosomtwe (Ghana parliament constituency), Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party. On 5 March 2021, Adutwum was appointed by President Nana Akufo-Addo as the Minister of Education in Ghana. Simon Osei-Mensah (born 27 May 1961) is a Ghanaian politician, a member of the 6th Parliament and 4th Republic of Ghana, and a member of the New Patriotic Party in Ghana. He is the Ashanti Regional Minister, Ashanti Regional minister of Ghana. San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), established in 1851, is the only public school district within the City and County of San Francisco, and the first in the state of California. Under the management of the San Francisco Board of Education, the district serves approximately 50,046 students across 122 schools. 2020 Ghanaian General Election
General elections were held in Ghana on 7 December 2020. Incumbent President Nana Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was re-elected in the first round after securing a majority of the votes. Former President John Dramani Mahama announced that he would contest the results. At the Supreme Court, a petition challenging the result was filed on 30 December, and unanimously dismissed on 4 March 2021 for lack of merit. National Democratic Congress (Ghana)
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a social democratic political party in Ghana, founded by Jerry Rawlings, who was Head of State in Ghana from 1981 to 1993. He became the President of Ghana from 1993 to 2001. Following the formation of the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC), which ruled Ghana following the military coup d'état on 31 December 1981, there was pressure from the international community to restore democracy. The NDC was formed as the ruling party ahead of elections in 1992, in which Rawlings was elected president, and in 1996 Rawlings was re-elected as the NDC candidate. Rawlings' second term ended in 2001. The NDC lost the presidency in the 2000 election, and it was not until the 2008 election, that they regained it with John Atta Mills as its candidate. Bosomtwe District
Bosomtwe District is one of the 43 districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Originally, it was part of the then-larger Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District on 10 March 1989, which was created from the former Ejisu-Juaben-Bosomtwe District Council, until the western part of the district was split off on 29 February 2008 to create Atwima-Kwanwoma District; the remaining part was renamed Bosomtwe District.
