''Yathra Chodikkathe'' (Malayalam: യാത്ര ചോദിക്കാതെ, meaning ''Without Bidding Farewell'') is a 2016 Malayalam film directed by Aneesh Varma, starring Kalabhavan Mani and Reena Basheer. This was Kalabhavan Mani's last movie. The film was released posthumously on 8 April 2016 and met with negative reviews. ''Yathra Chodikkathe'' had a fifteen day theatrical run. The film was released after Kalabhavan Mani's death. Synopsis The story is about a Kuttanadu girl named Ponnu (Minu Kurian), who studies in Kochi. She is the daughter of Balan (Kalabhavan Mani) and Indira (Reena Basheer). Her roommate, Sandra, keeps insisting to meet her Auntie, but she is so focused on studying that she ignores Sandra's request. Balan occasionally came to the city to meet his daughter. Kunnisseri Veettil Raman Mani (1 January 1971 – 6 March 2016), better known by his stage name Kalabhavan Mani, was an Indian actor and singer. Mani started his career as a mimicry artist with the Kalabhavan comedy troupe. Kaithapram Vishwanathan Namboothiri (1963 – 29 December 2021) was an Indian musician and music director. He was awarded Kerala State Film Award for Best Background Music in 2001 for his background music for Kannaki.
