Yasmeen Fletcher
Yasmeen Tori Fletcher is an American actress and musician. She is best known for her role as Nakia Bahadir in the Disney+ series '' Ms. Marvel'' (2022). Early life Fletcher was born in Orange County, California to parents Troy, a pool contractor and Maysoun, a defense attorney. She is of Lebanese descent on her mother's side. From the age of three, she grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, with her younger sister. After commuting between Las Vegas and California for 12 years, the family officially relocated to La Crescenta, California, at the end of 2018. Career Fletcher made her debut in 2019 with roles in the film '' Ham on Rye'' and as Kaitlin, Buffy's (Sofia Wylie) basketball teammate in season 3 of the Disney Channel comedy-drama ''Andi Mack''. Iman Vellani (; ; born August 2002) is a Canadian actress and comic book writer. She starred as Kamala Khan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe productions '' Ms. Marvel'' (2022), ''The Marvels'' (2023), and ''Marvel Zombies'' (2025). Nakia Daniel Reynoso (born February 20, 1975), known professionally as Nakia, is an American musician, singer-songwriter and actor living in Austin, Texas. He is a native of Fort Payne, Alabama. Professional background Nakia moved to Austin in 2002 from Chicago, where he had been working as an intern for Aware Records. After arriving in Austin, Nakia began to pursue a solo career but was first noticed by Fastball guitarist and co-founder, Miles Zuniga. Zuniga recruited Nakia to join his rock and roll lounge act side project, The Small Stars. Each member of The Small Stars had an alter-ego and complete back story. Nakia created the character, "Vic Odin", who was described as a sleazy, double-crossing, British manager. He left the band in 2006.
