Yasir Al-Rumayyan
Yasir bin Othman Al-Rumayyan (; born 18 February 1970) is a Saudi Arabian Businessperson, businessman who is governor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also chairs the state-owned petroleum company Saudi Aramco and Saudi Arabia's largest mining company Ma'aden (company), Ma'aden. He is chairman of the English football club Newcastle United and manages the LIV Golf professional men's golf tour. He is chairman of Riyadh Air. He is also involved in the construction of Neom, a controversial megaproject. Al-Rumayyan is a close ally of Saudi ruler Mohammed bin Salman. His early career was in finance. Buraidah
Buraydah or Buraidah (Arabic: بريدة) is the capital and largest city of Al-Qassim Province in north-central Saudi Arabia. Neom (styled NEOM; , ) is an arcology and planned city being built by Saudi Arabia in Tabuk Province. Launched in 2017 by crown prince Mohammad bin Salman, the site is at the northern tip of the Red Sea, due east of Egypt across the Gulf of Aqaba and south of Jordan. The total planned area of Neom is . Multiple regions are planned, including a floating industrial complex, global trade hub, tourist resorts, and a linear city powered by renewable energy sources.
