Yashar Hasanov
Yashar Amirkhan oghlu Hasanov (), is an Azerbaijani military officer, and colonel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. He took part in the April 2016 clashes, and the Lachin offensive within the framework of the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war. Military service In 1994, Yashar Hasanov was awarded the For military services medal by the decision of then the President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev as a senior lieutenant. In 2014, Yashar Hasanov was awarded the rank of colonel. He was awarded III degree For service to the Fatherland Order by the decision of the current President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces ( az, Azərbaycan Silahlı Qüvvələri) were re-established according to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Armed Forces from 9 October 1991. The Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) had originally formed its own armed forces from 26 June 1918 but were dissolved after Azerbaijan was absorbed into the Soviet Union as the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic from 28 April 1920. Qubadli ( az, Qubadlı, ) is a city in Azerbaijan and the administrative centre of the Qubadli District. It is situated along the Vorotan (Bargushad) river. History Qubadli was part of the Zangezur uezd of the Elizavetpol Governorate during the Russian Empire.
