Turkish Women's Basketball League
The Turkish Women's Basketball League (, TKBL), is Turkish basketball league system, the second-tier level women's professional basketball division of the Turkish women's basketball league system. The league was established in 1980 and is organized by the Turkish Basketball Federation. Format The league has 16 teams. Each team plays others in their group twice during the regular season. The team that finishes in first place promotion and relegation, promotes to the Turkish basketball league system, top-tier level Women's Basketball Super League (KBSL) for the next season.Teams ranked 2nd to 9th compete in a playoff format and the winner of the playoff also promotes. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The SuperCup Women (or Women SuperCup) is a super cup competition organized by FIBA Europe and contested between the winners of EuroLeague Women and EuroCup Women.
