Yara Bou Rada
Yara Antoine Bou Rada (; born 7 August 2000) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a forward. Club career Born in Zgharta, Lebanon, Bou Rada began her career at hometown club Salam Zgharta's boys youth sector aged seven. She remained at the club when they formed a girls sector, and made her U17 debut in 2015. After playing for the U19s, she made her Lebanese Women's Football League debut in 2016. After two seasons at Salam Zgharta, Bou Rada joined reigning league champions Stars Association for Sports (SAS) in 2018. She spent two seasons at the club, scoring 18 league goals and winning two league titles. On 20 October 2020, Bou Rada moved to Safa on a three-year contract. She helped Safa win the 2022 edition of the WAFF Women's Clubs Championship, becoming the first Lebanese team to do so; Bou Rada finished as joint-top goalscorer with two goals. Safa WFC
Safa Women's Football Club (), or simply Safa, was a women's football club based in Wata El-Museitbeh, Beirut, Lebanon, section of the homonymous football club. Founded in 2019, they competed in the Lebanese Women's Football League, which they won in 2020–21. They were disbanded following the 2021–22 season. History Founded on 14 May 2019, Safa debuted in the 2019–20 season and finished in second place. They won their only league title in the 2020–21 season, after beating ÓBerytus 6–1 in the final matchday of the season. Having won the league, Safa qualified to compete in the 2022 edition of the WAFF Women's Clubs Championship for the first time. Lebanese Football Association
The Lebanese Football Association (LFA; ; ) is the governing body of association football in Lebanon. Formed in 1933, it is a member of both FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation, AFC. 2024 WAFF Women's Championship
The 2024 WAFF Women's Championship was the 8th edition of the WAFF Women's Championship, the biennial international women's football tournament in West Asia competed by the national teams in the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). The tournament was hosted by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was the first major women's football tournament to be hosted in the kingdom. Jordan were three-time defending champions having won the last three editions (Jordan 2014, Bahrain 2019 and Jordan 2022). and they successfully retained the title for the sixth time, after beating Nepal on penalties in the final. In the other hand tournament's host Saudi Arabia were unable to secure victory in any of their matches. Nepalese striker Sabitra Bhandari won the top scorer award scoring nine goals throughout the tournament.
