Yann Fillion
Yann-Alexandre Fillion (born February 14, 1996) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays for Floriana in the Maltese Premier League. Early life Fillion was born in Ottawa, Ontario. After originally playing youth soccer in Ottawa with Gloucester Hornets and Capital United, he later moved to AS Hull in Quebec. In January 2013, Fillion joined the Montreal Impact Academy, after completing a couple of trials. Club career In March 2015, Fillion joined the Impact's second team FC Montreal in the USL for their inaugural season. He made his professional debut for the club on March 28 in a 2–0 defeat to Toronto FC II. In early 2016, he went to Switzerland to trial with Swiss Super League club FC Zürich, being invited back before signing a five-year contract in May 2016. An injury early in his time in Switzerland, limited his integration into the first team. Halifax Wanderers FC, also written as HFX Wanderers FC, is a Canadian professional Association football, soccer club in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Veikkausliiga () is a professional association football league in Finland and the highest level of the Finnish football league system. The league comprises the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called ''Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. Until the end of 2023, ''Kakkonen'' was the third-highest level in Finland, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kakkonen also dropped down one level in the league pyramid. The new fourth-tier Kakkonen is divided to three groups, each consisting of 10 teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen ( Finnish for 'Number Two'; ). The Challenge League (known as the Dieci Challenge League for sponsorship reasons) is the second-highest tier of the Swiss football league system and lower of two professional leagues in the country. Ten teams play in the Challenge League; the winners of the league are promoted to the Swiss Super League, Super League, while the bottom-placed team is relegated to the Promotion League.
