Yang Longyan
Yang Longyan () (897 – June 17, 920), né Yang Ying (), also known as Yang Wei (), courtesy name Hongyuan (), also known by his temple name as the Emperor Gaozu of Yang Wu (), was a monarch of the Yang Wu dynasty of China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, reigning initially as the Commandery Prince of Hongnong and later as the Prince of Wu. Throughout his reign, the governance of the Yang Wu state was under the effective control of the regent Xu Wen. Background Yang Longyan was born in 897, during the reign of Emperor Zhaozong of Tang; he was the second son of Yang Xingmi, who, by the time of his birth, was a major warlord as the military governor (''Jiedushi'') of Huainan Circuit (淮南, headquartered in modern Yangzhou, Jiangsu). His mother was Yang Xingmi's concubine Lady Shi, who was also the mother of his older brother Yang Wo. Yang Wu
Wu (), also referred to as Huainan (), Hongnong (), Southern Wu (), or Yang Wu (楊吳), was a dynastic state of China and one of the Ten Kingdoms during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. It existed from 907 to 937 with capital at Jiangdu Municipality (; modern-day Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province). Some historians consider Wu to have begun in 902, when Yang Xingmi was named Prince of Wu by the Tang dynasty. All three rulers of Wu after 907 (when the Tang dynasty collapsed and Zhu Wen established the Later Liang dynasty) were Yang Xingmi's sons. The first ruler Yang Wo was murdered by his ministers Xu Wen and Zhang Hao, and his two brothers after him were effectively puppets dominated by Xu Wen at first, and later Xu Wen's adopted son Xu Zhigao (Li Bian) who in 937 usurped power to establish the Southern Tang dynasty. Yang Ying (table Tennis, Born 1953)
Yang Ying (born 1953) is a retired Chinese international table tennis player. Table tennis career She won the 1977 World Table Tennis Championships in women's doubles, partnering with North Korean player Pak Yong-ok. In the 1978 Asian Table Tennis Championships, she won a silver in women's singles and a gold in team competition. In the 1978 Asian Games, she won a bronze in women's doubles (partnering with Cao Yanhua) and a gold in team competition. Later she played in Germany's Bundesliga for DSC Kaiserberg, helping the club win the 1980–1981 season as well as the 1981 ETTU Cup. Retirement After retirement she coached the German club ATSV Saarbrücken, and is currently the head coach of the Saarland Table Tennis Association. Yang Ying () is a Chinese table tennis player, born 13 July 1977 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province. She achieved gold medals at several World Table Tennis Championships in either doubles or team play.
