The cinematographer or director of photography (sometimes shortened to DP or DOP) is the person responsible for the photographing or recording of a film, television production, music video or other live action piece. Cao Baoping () is a Chinese film director. He has emerged in recent years as a figure in China's "midrange" cinema industry. Hu Xueyang (; born 17 July 1963) is a Chinese film director, producer, writer and actor. Born in a family of dramatists, he graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in 1989.
