Yang Seung-Won
Yang Seung-Won (; born 15 July 1985) is a South Korean football defender currently playing for Yongin City in the National League, the third tier of South Korean football. Club career Yang joined Daegu FC from Daegu University for the 2008 season, and was initially handed the No. 30 jersey. After making only intermittent appearances (but scoring one goal) for the senior side in 2008, he was firmly established in the side for the 2009 season, playing 23 matches in all competitions. He remains with the club for the 2010 season. He was summarily indicted in the 2011 South Korean football betting scandal and the K League suspended him for 2 years. In 2013, the K League reduced his disciplinary punishment and he returned to Daegu. K League (Hangul: K리그) is South Korea's professional football league. It includes first division K League 1 and second division K League 2. History Until the 1970s, South Korean football operated two major football leagues, the National Semi-professional Football League and the National University Football League, but these were not professional leagues in which footballers could focus on only football. The 2013 K League Classic was the 31st season of the top division of South Korean professional football. The South Korean professional football league, K League, was split into two divisions since this year, and the top division was named the "K League Classic". The 2010 K League, officially known as Sonata K-League 2010, was the 28th season of the K League. It was sponsored by Hyundai Motor Company, and was held from 27 February to 5 December 2010. The K League match-fixing scandal, the biggest incident in history of South Korean football, occurred in this season, and was revealed in 2011. 15 matches were fixed by 47 players, and they were banned for life from working in football. K-League 2008
The 2008 K League was the 26th season of the K League. The regular season and playoffs' format was the same as the one used in the 2007 season. It began on March 8, and the final of the playoffs finished on 7 December. On 2 August 2008, the first ever Jomo Cup kicked off. The K League All-Stars squared off against the J.League All-Stars at the Japan National Stadium. Lee Woon-jae was selected as the K League All-Star Team's captain and Cha Bum-kun managed the squad. Yongin City Government FC
Yongin City FC ( ko, 용인시청 축구단) was a South Korean association football club based in Yongin, Gyeonggi. Founded in 2010, they played in the National League, the third tier of South Korean league football. They played their home games at the Yongin Football Center. History Founded on January 1, 2010, Yongin City FC gained membership of the National League ahead of the 2010 season with the league expanding to fifteen sides. Former Pusan Daewoo Royals and South Korean international defender Jung Kwang-seok was appointed the club's inaugural manager. Debut season The club's debut match was a Second Round tie in the 2010 Korean FA Cup however they suffered a home defeat to Kwangwoon University, losing out 7–6 on penalties after the tie had finished 1–1 after extra time.
