Yang Libing
Yang Libing (, born 13 November 1965), also known as Emily Yeo, is a former Singaporean Mediacorp actress. She was prominently a full-time artiste from 1983 to 2009. Career Yang first entered the entertainment industry in 1984 after she completed the SBC's drama training course with her older sister Yang Lina. She starred in the long-running hit drama '' Wok of Life'' and won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Star Awards in 1999. Yang left the entertainment industry in 2009 to focus on business and operated a hair salon with her sister Yang Lina which was opened in 2004. Yang has appeared in several of MediaCorp's anniversary events and was one of many former artistes present at the Star Awards 2012. Personal life Yang studied at Nan Chiau High School. Yang married actor Li Nanxing in 1994 after co-starring with him in several drama series. They divorced in 2004 citing irreconcilable differences. Airforce (TV Series)
Airforce (空军) is a Singapore Chinese miniseries produced by the SBC in 1988. It was the first military themed drama produced in Singapore and produced in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence. The drama featured the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSSAF) and its aircraft such as the Northrop F-5, Aermacchi S-211 and Aermacchi SF.260. Most scenes were filmed on-site at Changi Airport and its adjoining air base. The series creator was Jiang Long, who also co-created the 1984 classic period drama '' The Awakening''. The miniseries was later dubbed in English for broadcast on SBC 5 in April 1989 as a strategy by SBC to air the English dubbed version of a Mandarin serial first before the actual serial was shown. ''The Golden Pillow'' () is a 40-episode epic drama produced by the Television Corporation of Singapore (now MediaCorp) in 1995. Synopsis The story is about Ren Niang, who attempts to find success and happiness in his life. Born in Thailand, Ren Niang goes to Singapore in search of his long-lost biological father Sai Qilin and gets entangled in a love triangle along the way. He chances upon a mysterious "golden pillow" rumoured to possess magical powers. Part of the plot involves various characters trying to get their hands on the golden pillow. Love Me, Love Me Not (真爱无敌) is a romance drama about two angels who must fulfill a mission to make certain people fall in love. It stars Jacelyn Tay, Xie Shaoguang, Wong Li-Lin, Chen Hanwei and Dennis Chew. Plot Two angels, Hong Luanxing ( Jacelyn Tay, the Love Star) and Gu Guaxing ( Wong Li-Lin, the Lonesome Star), are sent to Earth as a punishment for breaking a rule in heaven. On Earth, they take on new identities as Song Xingxing, a lawyer, and Song Jingjing, a matchmaker from the Social Development Board.
