Yaman Candar - or Jandar, full name Temur Şemseddin (Shamsaddin) Yaman Candar was the founder and first Bey of Candarid beylik (principality) in Anatolia in the late 13th century. Early life There is no record of his family except that he was of Turkoman origin. According to ''Islam Encyclopedia'' his name Candar was also the title of palace guards and Yaman Candar was probably a candar in Seljuks palace His activities in the civil war In 1291 Ilkhanid emperor Arghun, the suzerain of the Seljuks died. During the chaos following his death, Seljukid prince Kılıç Arslan (son of Kaykaus II who was living in Crimea), came to Anatolia to wrest for the Seljuk throne in 1292. His main ally was the Chobanids. Sultan Mesut II who was Kılıç Arslan's elder brother tried to chase him. Çağla Yaman, aka Çağla Yılmaz, (born April 1, 1981) is a Turkish women's handballer, who plays in the Turkish Women's Handball Super League for İzmir BB GSK, and the Turkey national team. Fuat Yaman (born 5 December 1958) is a Turkish football coach and former player who last managed Bandırmaspor. Career Yaman is a product of the Beşiktaş J.K. youth system having played 4 years with the club. He became professional at Beşiktaş at second half of 1978–79 season. He also played for Zonguldakspor (1980–1984) and (1985–1986), Antalyaspor (1984–1985), Eskişehirspor (1986–1988), Konyaspor (1988–1990), Sakaryaspor (1990–1992) and Zeytinburnuspor (1992–1993) as midfielder. Gamze Nur Yaman (born 25 April 1999) is a Turkish women's football goalkeeper, who plays for Galatasaray with jersey number 32. She was a member of the Turkey women's national under-19 team before she was admitted to the Turkey women's national team. İrem Yaman (born August 4, 1995) is a twice world champion Turkish taekwondo athlete competed in the lightweight division, and an amateur kickboxer. In 2021, she retired from the taekwondo. Private life İrem Yaman was born on August 4, 1995. She began practising taekwondo at the age of eight. She studied Physical Education and Sports at Hacettepe University in Ankara, and was a member of the university's taekwondo team. After earning her bachelor's degree, she went on to conduct study for a master's degree at Selçuk University's Sports Department in Konya.
