Yahya Hassan
Yahya Hassan (19 May 1995 – 29 April 2020) was a Danish poet and political activist of Palestinian descent, whose poems and public statements criticizing both Islam and Danish policies on migration and participation in armed conflicts made him a much-debated and controversial figure. His most notable work, ''Yahya Hassan'', as of 2013 was the best-selling debut poetry collection in Denmark, and has been printed in more than 120,000 copies (middle of 2015). Early life Yahya Hassan was born to a family of Muslim Palestinian people, Palestinian immigrants, who had fled to Lebanon due to the Israeli occupation of Palestine, and who moved to Denmark in the 1980s. He was born in Aarhus V, a problematic immigrant district of the city of Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark and the country's main port. Eva Kjer Hansen
Eva Kjer Hansen (born 26 August 1964 in Aabenraa) is a Danish former politician, who was a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. She held many ministerial positions, the last being as minister of Fisheries, Gender Equality and Nordic Cooperation from 2 May 2018 to 27 June 2019. Hansen was a member of parliament from the 1990 Danish general election to the 2022 Danish general election where she was not re-elected. Christian Langballe
Christian Bernhard Langballe (17 January 1967 – 19 April 2025) was a Danish politician. He was a member of the Folketing for the Danish People's Party. He was elected into parliament at the 2011 Danish general election and then reelected in the 2015 Danish general election. His father was also a politician, Jesper Langballe. Life and career Christian Bernhard Langballe was born on 17 January 1967 in Aarhus as the son of Jesper Langballe and Birgitte Langballe. He studied at Aarhus University from 1990 to 1998. He was the Parish priest of Tjele and Nørre Vinge parishes and Viborg parish from 2000. Morten Bødskov
Morten Bødskov (born 1 May 1970) is a Danish Social Democratic politician, member of the Folketing, and the Minister for Business since 2022. He was Minister of Defence from February to December 2022 and Minister for Taxation under Frederiksen and Minister of Justice in the Government of Helle Thorning-Schmidt. Michael Aastrup Jensen (born 16 March 1976) is the Danish ambassador to the Council of Europe (CoE). He is a former politician, a member of the Folketing for the political party Venstre and the former chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee. Karsten Styrbæk Lauritzen (born 14 October 1983 in Løgstør) is a former Danish politician, who was a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. He was first elected into parliament in the 2007 Danish general election and left the parliament on the 31 January 2022. He served as Minister of Taxation from 2015 to 2019. Odense
Odense ( , , ) is the third largest city in Denmark (after Copenhagen and Aarhus) and the largest city on the island of Funen.
