Sarazino
Sarazino (born Lamine Fellah, 3 March 1970 in Constantine, Algeria) is an Algerian musician, songwriter and record producer, who first created the Sarazino project in 1995 while living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Background Lamine Fellah was raised the son of a career diplomat in Constantine, Algeria. His father's profession moved Lamine and his family all around the world; they lived in Spain, Switzerland, Burundi and Burkina Faso. At the age of 14, residing in Burkina Faso, Lamine acquired his first drum kit and became interested in writing his own music. His father was assassinated by Islamic radicals in Algeria, and his family was forced into exile. In 1996, Lamine visited Ecuador; he has since moved to Quito. Reggae
Reggae () is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1960s. The term also denotes the modern popular music of Jamaica and its diaspora. A 1968 single by Toots and the Maytals, "Do the Reggay" was the first popular song to use the word "reggae", effectively naming the genre and introducing it to a global audience. Cumbancha is a record label, booking agency and music publisher based in Charlotte, Vermont. The company was founded by ethnomusicologist and music producer Jacob Edgar in 2006. In 2007, Cumbancha Music Publishing was established to expand opportunities for artists, helping them license songs to various movies, television programs, and advertisements, including '' Boyhood'', '' Grey's Anatomy'', and '' High Maintenance.'' Toots Hibbert
Frederick Nathaniel Hibbert, (8 December 1942 – 11 September 2020), better known as Toots Hibbert, was a Jamaican singer and songwriter who was the lead vocalist for the reggae and ska band Toots and the Maytals. A reggae pioneer, he performed for six decades and helped establish some of the fundamentals of reggae music. Hibbert's 1968 song "Do the Reggay" is widely credited as the genesis of the genre name ''reggae''. His band's album '' True Love'' won a Grammy Award in 2005. The Maytals, known from 1972 to 2020 as Toots and the Maytals, are a Jamaican musical group, one of the best known ska and rocksteady vocal groups. The Maytals were formed in the early 1960s and were key figures in popularizing reggae music. Frontman Toots Hibbert, who died in 2020, was considered a reggae pioneer on par with Bob Marley. His soulful vocal style was compared to Otis Redding, and led him to be named by ''Rolling Stone'' as one of the 100 Greatest Singers. Revelino
Revelino were an Irish alternative rock band formed in Dublin in 1994. They were active from 1994-96 and in early 2001, releasing three albums. History Revelino were based on the south side of Dublin, first appearing on the Dublin gig scene in late 1994 with their eponymous first album released on DiRT Records. At the end of 1994, the band was voted into '' Fanning's Fab 50'' for the song "Happiness is Mine". In 2004, the debut album was featured on Hotpress on its list of th100 Greatest Irish albums In 1996, Revelino released their second album, ''Broadcaster'', on DiRT Records.
