Xuxa (album 1993)
''Xuxa'' was the twelfth studio album by Brazilian recording artist Xuxa Meneghel. It was released in July 1993 by Som Livre. The album is composed only of songs that were left out of their previous albums. Sales were positive, despite being a collection of b-sides. The arrangements of the album's tracks were redone in some songs. Production and songs In 1993, Xuxa began to devote itself more and more to its international programs. In the same year, began to present a Sunday program that took its name in the afternoons of Rede Globo, this time directed towards the whole family. As a way to not fail to release an album that year, it was decided to make an album with music files, which the public still did not know, as well as songs recorded for the singer's specials. ''4º Xou da Xuxa'' () is the fifth studio album by Brazilian recording artist Xuxa Meneghel, released on 11 July 1989. This LP was the fourth album of the collection ''Xou da Xuxa'' of a total of seven. The album sold over 3 million copies, being 2 million copies sold in advance, becoming the biggest selling album of Brazil in 1989, and the fourth best-selling album of her music career, is also the fifth best-selling album in the history of Brazilian music. Programa Xuxa (or simply Xuxa) was a Brazilian television show hosted by Xuxa Meneghel at TV Globo between 2 May 1993 and 24 October of the same year, at 14pm on Sunday. With Marlene Mattos's general directorate, five blocks and an hour long, the new program of the host brought jokes and scoundrels, gathering parents and children, presenting musical numbers and showing a table of interviews.
