Xplode Magazine
Xplode Magazine is a registered charity in the United Kingdom, formed on 13 February 2014. Before this, Xplode Magazine operated as a Constituted Community Group. Xplode Magazine is a volunteering and training charity. It was founded by Saeed Atcha. Xplode trains young people aged 12–22 in media, business, and life skills in order to develop their employability prospects. The young people then practice what they're taught through the creation of Xplode's actual publication, Xplode Magazine. Organisation Xplode Magazine operates in Bolton, Bury, and Manchester City. Bolton
Bolton (, locally ) is a large town in Greater Manchester in North West England, formerly a part of Lancashire. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The urbanisation and development of the town largely coincided with the introduction of textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Bolton was a 19th-century boomtown and, at its zenith in 1929, its 216 cotton mills and 26 bleaching and dyeing works made it one of the largest and most productive centres of cotton spinning in the world. Saeed Atcha
Saeed Atcha (born July 1996), is Chief executive of the youth-led charity Youth Leads UK. Atcha is currently a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater Manchester and a Commissioner of the Social Mobility Commission. Early life Atcha was born in Deane, Bolton. He then moved to Hulton and attended Ladybridge High School. Atcha went on to study Public Relations at Manchester Metropolitan University. Career Atcha founded the charity Youth Leads UK, supporting disadvantaged young people in Greater Manchester to access volunteering opportunities and skills development programmes. He was trustee of the Prince of Wales’ charity Step Up To Serve. Atcha was appointed Deputy lieutenant of Manchester by Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester in June 2019.
