''Xodus: The New Testament'' is the second studio album by American hip hop group X Clan. It was released on May 19, 1992 via Polydor Records. Recording sessions took place at I.N.S. Studios and Quadrasonic Studio in New York. Production was handled by X Clan themselves. The album peaked at number 31 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and number 11 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in the United States. It featured three singles: "Fire & Earth", "Xodus" and "A.D.A.M.". ''Return from Mecca'' is the third studio album by American hip hop group X Clan. It was released on January 30, 2007 via Suburban Noize Records. Production was handled by DJ Fat Jack, Quazedelic, ACL, Proh Mic, Bean One, Damian Marley, DJ Khalil, DJ Quik, Jake One, J. Thrill, Patrick Shevelin, Stephen Marley and UltraMan. X Clan (formerly stylized as XCLAN and often incorrectly spelled X-Clan) is a hip hop group from Brooklyn, New York, originally consisting of Brother J, Professor X, Paradise and Sugar Shaft. The current incarnation of the group features Brother J, Master China, Kumu, "Ultraman" Ra Hanna, ACL, Lord Cza, DJ Fat Jack and Zulu. George Edward Clinton (born July 22, 1941) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and bandleader. His Parliament-Funkadelic collective (which primarily recorded under the distinct band names Parliament (band), Parliament and Funkadelic) developed an influential and eclectic form of funk music during the 1970s that drew on Afrofuturism, outlandish fashion, psychedelia, and surreal humor. Bernie Worrell
George Bernard Worrell, Jr. (April 19, 1944 – June 24, 2016) was an American Keyboard instrument, keyboardist and record producer best known as a founding member of the Parliament-Funkadelic collective. In later years, he also worked with acts such as Talking Heads, Bill Laswell, and Jack Bruce. Leroy Roosevelt "Sugarfoot" Bonner (March 14, 1943 – January 26, 2013) was a musician, vocalist, and producer. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, about 20 miles (32 km) north of Cincinnati in 1943, Bonner grew up poor, the oldest of 14 children. He ran away from home at 14, and eventually wound up in Dayton, where he connected with the musicians who would form the Ohio Players.
