Xenia Schwaller
Xenia Schwaller (born September 16, 2002) is a Swiss curler from Zürich. She currently skips her own team out of the Grasshopper Club Zürich. In 2024, she skipped her team to victory at the 2024 World Junior Curling Championships, going undefeated at the event. Career Schwaller first represented Switzerland on the international stage at the 2019 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival as third for Jan Iseli. At the festival, the Swiss team with second Maximilian Winz and lead Malin Da Ros posted an undefeated 6–0 record to qualify for the playoffs. They defeated Hungary in the semifinal before losing to Great Britain in the final, settling for silver. The next season, the same team returned to represent Switzerland as the host team at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Champéry. Drawing on their past experience, the squad again went undefeated in the round robin to reach the knockout round. Curling At The 2020 Winter Youth Olympics – Mixed Doubles
Mixed doubles curling at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics was held from 18 to 22 January at the Palladium de Champéry in Champéry, Switzerland. Teams The teams will consist of athletes from the mixed team tournament, one boy and one girl from different NOCs. The teams will be selected by the organizing committee based on the final ranking from the mixed team competition in a way that balances out the teams. The players in each pair will then be allowed time to train together. Silvana Petra Tirinzoni (born 25 June 1979) is a Swiss curler from Zurich. She is currently the reigning women's world champion skip having won the last three championships, in 2019, 2021 and . Tirinzoni also represented Switzerland at the 2022 Winter Olympics and 2018 Winter Olympics, after winning the 2017 Swiss Olympic Curling Trials. Career In 1997, Tirinzoni was the Swiss alternate for Bianca Röthlisberger at the World Junior Curling Championships. The team finished seventh. Evelīna Barone (born 16 November 2003 in Riga) is a Latvian curler from Riga. Career At the national level, she is a two-time Latvian women's champion (2016, 2019) and six-time junior champion (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). The 2022 Swiss Women's Curling Championship, the national women's curling championship for Switzerland is being held from February 19 to February 26 in Thônex at the Trois-Chêne curling club. Team Tirinzoni are the defending champions and are returning from a fourth-place finish at the 2022 Olympics. There are seven teams competing to represent Switzerland at the 2022 World Women's Curling Championship. 2022 World Junior Curling Championships
The 2022 World Junior Curling Championships were held from May 15 to 22 at the Jönköping Curling Club in Jönköping, Sweden. The event was originally scheduled to be held March 5 to 12, however, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden. It was the final World Curling Federation event held during the 2021–22 curling season.
