Miguel Morais (7 February 1922 – 24 March 1990), known professionally as Xempea Minguel, was an early 20th-century Indian stage actor, comedian, director, and drama teacher known for his work in ''fells'' or ''Tiatr#Khell tiatr, khells'' (traditional Goan street plays). Early life Miguel Morais was born on 7 February 1922 in the village of Quepem taluka#Settlements, Assolda, which was located in the region of Goa during the period of Portuguese India, Portuguese colonial rule. At the time, Goa was part of the Portuguese Empire, though it is now situated within the modern nation of India. Morais was born into a Goan Catholic family, the third of four sons: Tiburcio (born 1918), Zpeferino (born 1916), and Antonio Moraes, Antonio (born 1924). Chinchinim is a census town in located in the Indian coastal of Goa. It is situated in the Salcete taluka of South Goa district.
