Xavier Lopez (born October 23, 2003), known professionally as Xaviersobased, is an American rapper and record producer from New York City. He is known for his eccentric rapping and production styles. He first became known after his hit song "Patchmade." His songs also span a number of genres, including trap, plugg, jerk, and hyperpop. Personal life Lopez was born on October 23, 2003 in New York City, in the Upper West Side neighborhood. He is ethnically Dominican. His mother began working as a DJ in the 1980s. Hosted by DJ Renessy, it was self-released on January 15, 2024, on SoundCloud before its release to other streaming services on January 21. ''Keep It Goin Xav'' is a New York hip-hop mixtape that also pulls from musical scenes such as Atlanta trap, Chicago drill, and jerk. Characterized by flowing instrumentals and smooth vocals, it blends the digital sound of Internet rap with Xaviersobased's Upper Manhattan roots. Production was handled by a variety of record producers including Xaviersobased himself, and the mixtape contains guest appearances from Jtxpo, Kuru, Yhapojj, and Nettspend. He gained popularity after a snippet of his song "Drankdrankdrank" went viral on Twitter in late 2023. Growing up surrounded by music, Nettspend began rapping while in fifth grade. After releasing multiple singles, Nettspend released his debut mixtape, '' Bad Ass F*cking Kid'', on December 6, 2024.
