Xavier Pascual Fuertes
Xavier Pascual Fuertes (born 8 March 1968) is a Spanish former handball player and the current coach of CS Dinamo București and the Romania national team. He is one of the most successful handball coaches. On 9 February 2009, he replaced Manolo Cadenas as head coach of Barcelona. Contemporaneously with his club job, he has been also coaching the Romania men's national handball team since June 6, 2016. In June 2018, Pascual resigned as Romania coach. The Copa del Rey de Balonmano 2014–15 was the 40th edition of this tournament, organized by Liga ASOBAL. The tournament began on October 4 and 5 with the matches of the first round. The Copa del Rey de Balonmano 2013–14 is the 39th edition of the Copa del Rey de Balonmano, hosted by Liga ASOBAL. The tournament began on 19 and 20 October with First Round matches. The Liga ASOBAL 2013–14 was the 24th season since its establishment. FC Barcelona was the defending champions. The campaign began on Friday, 13 September 2013. The last matchday was played on Sunday, 25 May 2014. A total of 16 teams contested the league, 13 of which had already contested in the 2012–13 season, and three of which were promoted from the División de Plata 2012–13. FC Barcelona won their fourth title in a row gathering thirteen ASOBAL titles. FC Barcelona also equaled the record of BM Ciudad Real when in 2009-10 season won every match. The season was marked by the shutdown of BM Atlético Madrid before the start of season due to financial constraints.
