XWA (professional Wrestling)
XWA was a British professional wrestling promotion, based in the English southeast town of Sudbury, Suffolk. The XWA was formed in March 2007, following the demise of the Frontier Wrestling Alliance, and acted as a spiritual successor. XWA initially ran quarterly events in Morecambe using FWA titles and some former FWA talent. XWA had an extended hiatus between 2012 and 2014. After resuming operations in 2014, the promotion ran its final events in September 2018. Grand Pro Wrestling
Grand Pro Wrestling (formerly Garage Pro Wrestling) or GPW is a British professional wrestling promotion based in the North West of England. The promotion was founded in February 2003 by former British wrestler "The Middleman" Lee Butler. His association with the promotion was ended in March 2004, Butler passed away in 2017 following a battle with cancer. The first event took place at the Monaco Ballroom, Hindley in July 2003. Events have been run regularly at the same venue ever since. Since January 2005, GPW has been run by British wrestler Johnnie Brannigan. However, the name 'Richard Noble' was used as the public-facing name up until Brannigan went public with his role in the company in April 2012. The XWA Frontier Sports Championship was a professional wrestling championship contested for in the XWA professional wrestling. Championship reigns are determined by professional wrestling matches, in which competitors are involved in scripted rivalries. She is signed to WWE where she performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Nikki Cross and is a member of The Wyatt Sicks faction. The British Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling championship contested for in the XWA. The championship was originally created and contested for in the Frontier Wrestling Alliance (FWA) but moved to XWA when the former company became defunct. It has also been contested for in Ring of Honor (ROH) due to a working relationship between them and FWA.
